A life-long entrepreneur, Kirsten Snow’s third business is Blue Stone Journeys. Her previous businesses include two companies in the photography industry. Kirsten has also worked in financial services and higher education. She created Blue Stone Journeys after recognizing a gap in the market for eco-therapy services at the organizational level. Blue Stone Journeys offers programs for senior living communities, universities, and progressive corporations. Kirsten lectures extensively about business development at institutions such as the Professional Development Collaborative and the Professional Photographers’ Associations of New England. Kirsten’s commitment to nature is as long as her entrepreneurship. She grew up on a small farm in Rhode Island and vacationed in New Hampshire’s White Mountains at a lakeside log cabin. Complementary therapies became central to Kirsten’s life when a brain tumor was discovered in her frontal lobe. A thirty plus year practice of yoga, mindfulness and meditation has been a key factor in Kirsten’s grounded sense of self and lightheartedness. Through Blue Stone Journeys, Kirsten is a catalyst for people looking to experience a similar connection with nature, themselves and others.Kirsten lives with her husband and their two cats on a tidal marsh on the South Shore of Massachusetts.
