Tamberly Conway, PhD
Director of Partnerships Tamberly is the Founder and CEO of Conservation Conexions, LLC. She holds a B.S. in Wildlife Management from McNeese State University and a M.S. in Forest Recreation Management, and a Ph.D. in Forestry, with a focus on Human Dimensions in Natural Resources from the College of Forestry and Agriculture at Stephen F. Austin State University. Tamberly served with the USDA Forest Service for nearly 12 years in the Conservation Education Program in both Texas and in Washington, DC. Her work as a Partnerships, Diversity and Inclusion Specialist focused upon creating traditional and non-traditional partnerships in conservation education and community engagement to reach diverse audiences with meaningful and relevant educational and stewardship opportunities. Tamberly has been engaged in the health and nature realm for over 10 years, through a variety of unique partnerships with organizations such as Park Rx America, National Environmental Education Foundation, Dimensions Educational Research Foundation - Nature Explore and the Lone Star Family Medical Center in collaboration with the Jones State Forest in Texas. She serves as an Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Certified Guide, an ANFT Certified Forest Therapy Trail Consultant, a Zumba Fitness Instructor (Zumba Basic, Zumba Kids, Strong by Zumba) and a Marine Endangered Species Observer. |
